Rosh Hashanah Honey Cake

I was never a big fan of honey cake growing up, so for years I made apple cake for Rosh Hashanah instead of the traditional honey cake. This year I experimented, however, and came up with this rich tasting honey cake recipe. Step 3 says to add sugar – but there is not sugar listed in the ingredients??

I was referring to the brown sugar when I wrote “add sugar.” I’ve now added the word “brown” to make sure it is clear to everyone. Thanks for pointing this out to me. Please come back and let us know how the cake turns out for you.
