Cabbage and Noodles
Monday January 12, 2009
My parents were born in Hungary before World War II, and they both remember loving this Cabbage and Noodles dish as children. When they immigrated to Israel as teens, after surviving the horrors of the Holocaust, they brought memories of this dish with them. In time they began to make it in their Israeli home and serve it to their Israeli children. By the time I was born, this dish was a well-established staple in our Hungarian-flavored, Israeli home.More Hungarian Jewish Recipes from Ema:

Not only is quinoa kosher, it is also kosher for Passover. Please see http://kosherfood.about.com/od/pesach/f/kfp_quinoa.htm. Furthermore, quinoa is already available and even popular in Israel.
Best,
Giora
Hi! I was surprised that I couldn’t find any information about the new Kosher LeMehadrin Dunkin’ Donuts on Amsterdam btwn 93rd and 94th and the UWS of NY NY. They deliver, and it urns out, they even do catering, with have kosher versions of some of the other foods on the DD menu.
They also gave me this code – MKTG101 that they said anyone can use and get 10% off!
I thought this might be something you could use.
A regular reader.
Whoops, my bad – the coupon code MKTG101 is for 10% off any order of $50 or more. Please excuse the error!
