Through the combined flavors of warm peaches, cinnamon and oats, this easy-to-make Peach Crisp is calming and comforting. Since it is made with fresh peaches, it is the perfect summertime dessert. And since it is parve, it is the perfect ending to a kosher meat meal.

Cook Time: 40 minutes
Ingredients:
- 7-8 fresh peaches, peeled, pitted and sliced (1 kilo, 2.2 pounds)
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 cup pareve margarine, room temperature
Preparation:
1. Spray a 9-inch square baking dish with non-stick spray. Preheat oven to 375° Fahrenheit.
2. Place peaches in a 9 inch square pan. Sprinkle with lemon juice. Depending in the sweetness of the peaches, sprinkle with a little sugar too.
3. In medium bowl, mix together remaining ingredients until the mixture is crumbly.
4. Sprinkle crumb mixture evenly over peaches.
5. Bake at 375° Fahrenheit for 40-45 minutes or until top is golden brown.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS:
Serve this Peach Crisp warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The ice cream should be pareve if serving this after kosher meat meal.
