Sheva Brachot refers both to the seven blessings recited for the bride and groom under the chuppah as well as to the six days of celebratory meals that follow the wedding. These celebratory meals are generally hosted by friends of the new couple, and at the end of the meal the seven blessings for the newlyweds are recited. Given so many festive meals following a wedding, Sheva Brachot menus tend to be dairy. These delicious dairy main dishes, salads and desserts can be used for your next Sheva Brachot or any dairy meal.

1. Lettuce, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Pecans and Feta Salad:

This Lettuce, Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Pecans and Feta Salad is an attempt to recreate a salad served at the Bonafey Restaurant in Kfar Rut, Israel. The combination of the flavorful dressing with the lettuce, sun-dried tomatoes, pecans and feta cheese is delicious.

5. Cheese Vegetable Lasagna:

This Cheese Vegetable Lasagna recipe is fun because it is different every time I make it. I choose which vegetables to include according to the season, price and diners' preferences.

6. Israeli Corn Casserole:

This dairy Corn Casserole, which an Israeli friend introduced to me, is delicious. Corn, mushrooms and hard-boiled are mixed with a cream sauce that has a touch of mustard in it. For a lighter version of the casserole, use less cheese and bread crumbs on top. This recipe adds a different touch to the festive meal.

7. Mushroom Quiche:

If you think it is difficult to make quiche, then this easy Mushroom Quiche recipe will be a wonderful surprise for you. I always double the recipe and put one of the quiches in the freezer.

8. Broccoli Cheese Roll:

Broccoli and cheese is a delicious combination, and when you roll the two together in a puff pastry dough then even the kids will eat it up. This Broccoli Cheese Roll is very easy to make, yet it looks wonderful and tastes delicious.

9. Favorite Sheva Brachot Desserts:

It is a nice idea to put out popcorn and a variety of nuts at the end of the Sheva Brachot meal, but it wouldn't be a real party without some sweet ending too. Here are recipes for some tasty baked treats.
