My family has decided that their favorite salad contains lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, bell pepper, corn and hard-boiled eggs. When they are in an especially fun mood, they might garnish it with raisins or roasted sunflower seeds.

Ingredients:
- SALAD:
- 1/3 head romaine lettuce, torn into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 cucumber, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup corn (canned is fine)
- 1 hard-boiled egg, cubed
- DRESSING:
- 6 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. ground pepper
Preparation:
1. Place the lettuce leaves in a salad bowl.
2. Add tomato, cucumber, bell pepper, corn, and egg.
3. In small bowl, mix together to oil, vinegar, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper.
4. Toss the salad with the dressing, and serve.
