You just walked in the door to find a house full of hungry kids? In ten minutes, this hot, child-friendly, and all-inclusive meal can be on the table. Just boil the pasta, boil the hotdogs, saute the carrots, and mix. Now you can go take a hot bubble bath!

Prep Time: 2 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 carrots
  • 5 Tablespoons canola or vegetable oil
  • 1 package of farfalle pasta
  • 1 package of hotdogs
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/3 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation:

1. Peel and shred carrots.
2. Heat oil in skillet. Add shredded carrots. Cook for a few minutes. Set aside.
3. Boil water in a large pot.
4. Add 2 teaspoons salt and farfalle pasta. Cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
5. Slice hotdogs into rounds. Add to pasta in boiling water. Cook the pasta and hotdogs together, uncovered, for the rest of the time written on the pasta package.
4. Drain well. Add carrots and pepper.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS: Children who love ketchup might enjoy eating this with ketchup.
