Growing up in Israel, I foolishly thought kizizot were hamburgers. And then I went to America and met the real thing. And when my American girlfriend's parents served these hamburgers, the thought of proposing first crossed my mind.

Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup plain bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Preparation:
1. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together well.
2. Shape into 10 hamburgers, and place on a broiler pan.
3. Broil for about 8 minutes on each side, until cooked through.
