Paula Levine Weinstein and Julie Komerofsky Remer

Dazzle family and friends with these moist and delicious Passover Chocolate Nut Cookies. They can be made in just 15 minutes using one bowl and one cookie sheet.

Ingredients:

  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. Passover chocolate cake mix*
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • Chopped nuts

Preparation:

1. In mixing bowl, combine first 4 ingredients.
2. Beat at medium speed for 4 minutes. Fold in nuts.
3. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
4. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 to 10 minutes.

Yields 2 dozen.

*Discard icing mix packet, or use for another purpose.

NOTE:

For this dessert to be kosher for Passover, all ingredients must be kosher for Passover.
