Baked Tangy Cauliflower (Parve)

This Baked Tangy Cauliflower recipe is great when you are looking for an easy-to-prepare vegetable side dish. My family loves cauliflower, and mustard is a delicious way to enhance its flavor.

  • 1 large head of fresh cauliflower cut into florets
  • 3/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • Bread crumbs for sprinkling


1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius).
2. Microwave the cauliflower until just tender (approximately 5 minutes).
3. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and mustard.
4. Place the cauliflower in a shallow Pyrex dish and coat with the mustard and mayonnaise mixture.
5. Sprinkle the bread crumbs on top.
6. Bake uncovered for about 20 minutes until the cauliflower is tender.

I have the same recipe but I make it in the Microwave. First I cook the Cauliflower in the Microwave in a little bit of water for nine minutes then I drain the water and put on the mayo and mustard sauce and then the bread crumbs and microwave it for another three minutes.
