Giora Shimoni
At the Passover Seder, charoset is meant to look like and remind us of the mortar the Israelite slaves used in their building. This Traditional Italian Charoset, contributed by Frank Tamburello, contains dates, almonds, apples, raisins and orange juice. Frank generally doubles or even triples the recipe, as this charoset goes fast!
