This Sweet and Sour Cabbage recipe can be served hot or cold, but I prefer it hot. I often serve it when I have guests who are not big veggie eaters, as they tend to like this flavorful dish and I can feel good about having served something healthy.
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 small-medium sized white cabbage, cut into strips
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons vinegar
Preparation:
1. Heat the oil in a large frying pan or wok.
2. Add the cabbage and onion and fry for a couple of minutes.
3. Add the remaining ingredients and continue to cook until the cabbage is soft and cooked through.
